34-5471/R1 For In Vitro Diagnostic Use July, 2009 ARCHITECT i System e-Assay Files CD-ROM Assay File Download and Installation Instructions Follow the steps below to create a CD-ROM for the assay file(s) found in the Assay Specific Information and Host Configuration table. 1. From the website, double-click on the ISO image that will be used to burn a CD-ROM. Select open at the File Download window. 2. Confirm that one of the following data recording software types is displayed: • Sonic Record Now Plus • Roxio • InfraRecorder NOTE: You must use one of the software types listed to burn the image file to a CD as not all software packages are compatible with this procedure. A link to a free version of CD burning software is provided on the website. 3. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen to burn the image file to a CD-R or CD-RW. NOTE: Do not reuse the CD-ROM if an error occurs during the process. NOTE: Only one image can be burned to a CD-ROM. 4. Label the CD-ROM with the following information; ARCHITECT i (insert platform) System, e-Assay File CD-ROM- (insert US or WW (excluding US)), Version # and Date (insert date). 5.
