AbstractMusic plays an important role in People's Daily life. In most cases,the activity of listening to music is not present ,but as the main activities to improve leaming and work environment.The research for background music influence leaming begins 1960s. Memory is the premise to study,memory include instantaneous memory ,shOl:t-term memory (also called working memory) and long-term memory. Working memory is divided into visual space working memory andverbal working memory. Paging through material ,find that the development of visual spatial memory is slower than verbal working memo可, because visual spatial memo叮 research methods is limited. At the same time,it also finds that background music for working memoryeffects are aimed at verbal working memory ,and not find relevant research for background music effects visual space working memory. The paper is about background music effects visual space working memory: the influence of music kinds for visual space working memory; theinfluence of music rhythIηfor visual space working memory; the influence of background musicfor people's visual space working memoηwho have or not music habits when they studying; the interaction music type,rhythm and music habits on visual space working memo可·This experiment is a 7 X 2 design,discusses six kinds of music types and habit affect visual space working memory ,and the other group is not playing music. Experimental materials adopt text st。可pictures which Li Jing (2009) has used ,and the text st。可pictures have been processed. This experiment was compiled by E-prime2.0 ,and the dates automatically generated on computers. The dependent variable includes picture study time,problems reaction time andproblems reaction accuracy rate.The conclusions of experiment as follows:(1)From picture leaming time we can know that under music conditions people have good study rate .The control group use significantly longer time to study than the experimental group.
