教育硕士论文答辩 A Study of the Post-Reading Output of Senior High school English Learners 答辩人: 黄淑萍 导 师: 李 英 副教授 安徽师范大学 2010.12.04 Outline Background Structure Findings Implications Limitations Conclusion Background Students are poor in reading and writing in general. The complaints about the post-reading activities in textbooks (Published by Beijing Normal University Press) from teachers as well students. Structure Chapter 1 is an introduction. Chapter 2 is literature review . Chapter 3 presents the theories used in post-reading activities design. Chapter 4 gives a description of the empirical study. Chapter 5 is conclusion. Senior high school English learners in my school do not have much interest in post-reading activities in the textbook(Published by Beijing Normal University Press). Findings There is positive correlation between one’s interest in post-reading activities and his output ability. There are still a few students who are weak in English show little interest in the experiment. Implications Study on post-reading activities is necessary and feasible in senior high schools, especially in rural senior high schools. Implications There are some basic principles to be observed when teachers integrate or redesign post-reading activities. Implications The teachers should consider how to reoriente teachers’ roles according to specific situations. Limiataions Limiations Conclusion This study has benefit me in many ways. * * Findings The problem that how to evaluate students’ oral ability has not been mentioned. The sample is limited in its claim for representiveness and generalizability. The reasons why a small number of students do not show interest in post-reading activities have not been stated .
