ABSTRACTWith the business requirements changing constantly,the design，optimization and management of business process become important means of enterprise competition．Now,workflow technology has become the core technology for the defini tion， management and control of process。 and W6rkflow Management System(WfMS)iS based on workflow technology．By transferring reasonably and distributing concerned information and resource tocorrespond each activity in business procedure，it can help to realize business object of enterprise efficiently and to reforge business procedures better． However,as the rapid development in the electronic commerce in the internet。 the traditional management system of the work flow cannot adapt to that of the request of modern enterprise．Mainly for the system can’t adapt to the business handling processes of the enterprise which are getting more and more complex， and lacks flexibility and the interoperability,therefore cannot support thework flOW which keeps dynamically changing and trans．organizations．Workflow Foundation iS an enterprise work class development frame andthe engine，has provided a programming frame and the tool develops and carries out each kind differently based on the work class application procedure． It allows a work class to define as a series of activities。and has provided when the movement the foundation，the nimble work class control mechanism，the long time movement and the condition work class，when time the movement and the design transparency speaking of the user，as well as USeS in the rule deference and records management process veri蠡cation ability,a possessor participates in(Human)，the system(System)，continual(Sequential)and the state machine(State．Machine)the work class．Aiming at the disadvantages of the traditional work flow management system，based on deep study of Workflow Foundation，a system iS to be set up 如r workflOW appl ication in this pape。and give out a common workflOW management system structure which is useful
