The old words: gloves, hats, scarfs Look and say the word cards. Match word cards and pictures. Make a dialogue: Shopping T: (shop assistant) Can I help you? P: A hat, please. T: Here you are. P: Oh, thank you. Presentation Teach: tie T: (show a tie) Look, this is a tie. Say the word. (Pay attention to /ai/.) Make sentences. E.g. This is a tie. Here’s a tie…. Teach: belt T: (show a belt) Is this a tie? (No) What is it? Listen! It’s a belt. Say the word. Ask and answer. E.g. Is this a belt? Can you see a belt? … Say a rhyme. Belt, belt, I can see. Belt, belt, give it to me. Teach: socks T: (show a box) Guess. What’s in the box? T: Look, there are some socks. Say the word.
