Sing a song of your choosing Step2. Presentation Show the pictures to introduce the words bus, car, and bicycle. Teacher teaches the phrases: by bus/ car, bicycle, on foot. Teacher says: I usually go to school on foot. And ask the students the following questions and help them answer it. How do you go to school?---- by bus/ bicycle , car.( on foot). Step2: Listen Read. Listening cassette. Play the tape twice for the students to listen and ask : How does Jenny go to school? How does Kim go to school? How does Steven go to school? How does Danny go to school?. Teacher says : 询问别人去某地或去做某事的交通方式，在英语中用how提问，回答一般用by+表示交通工具的名词，或on foot 短语。要注意人称和动词形式的变化。 Play the tape again for the students to check the answers. Then check with the whole class. See if the students can understand. Play the audiotape as the students follow along in their student books. Then ask the students to read each sentence aloud with you. Books open. Practice the dialogue in pairs. Get some pairs to act out the dialogue, without looking at the books if possible. Step3: Presentation In pairs, the students take turns answering questions about their family members. For example. Does your work? Yes, He/ She is a . How does he/she go to work? By bus. Step4: Listen and answer the questions: Play the audiotape as the students follow along in their student book, And ask the students answer the questions: What’s Li Ming’s father? Where does he work? How does he go to work? Then check the answers. Then ask the students to read each sentence aloud with you. Step5:Practice　　Have the students work in pairs.
