区域文化特征视角下奥运冠军“南通现象”探因 　　摘 要：剖析了南通区域文化的特征，从中探寻奥运冠军“南通现象”产生的文化动因。研究认为，独特的地缘文化是奥运冠军“南通现象”形成的文化土壤；厚重的体育历史传统为奥运冠军“南通现象”的形成培育了文化基因；有序的环境文化是奥运冠军“南通现象”产生的文化养分；繁荣的群众体育文化是奥运冠军“南通现象”产生的文化基石；富足的体育精神文化是奥运冠军“南通现象”产生的核心驱动力。 　　关 键 词：体育社会学；奥运冠军；南通现象；区域文化 　　中图分类号：G80-05 文献标识码：A 文章编号：1006-7116(2011)06-0058-05 　　 　　Probing into the causes for the “Nantong Phenomenon” of Olympic champions 　　from the perspective of the characteristics of regional culture 　　CHU Zhi-dong1，PU Yi-jun2，TAI Chong-xi3 　　（1.School of Physical Education，Nanjing Normal University，Nanjing 210046，China； 　　2.Department of Physical Education，Institute of Technology of Changshu，Changshu 215500，China； 　　3.School of Physical Education，Soochow University，Suzhou 215021，China） 　　 　　Abstract: By means of field investigation, interviewing and literature data analysis, the author performed an in-depth analysis on the characteristics of Nantong regional culture, therefrom probed into the cultural causes for the occurrence of the “Nantong Phenomenon” of Olympic champions, and put forward the following opinions: unique regional culture is the cultural soil for the formation of the “Nantong Phenomenon” of Olympic champions; magnificent sports history tradition cultivated cultural genes for the formation of the “Nantong Phenomenon” of Olympic champions; orderly environmental culture is the cultural nutrition for the occurrence of the “Nantong Phenomenon” of Olympic champions; flourishing mass sport culture is the cultural foundation stone for the occurrence of the “Nantong Phenomenon” of Olympic champions; rich sports spiritual culture is core driving power for the occurrence of the “Nantong Phenomenon” of Olympic champions. 　　Key words: sport sociology；Olympic champion；Nantong Phenomenon；regional culture 　　 　　 　　“文化是一个民族或一个区域的群体在其历史发展中自觉与不自觉地所选取的有利于该民族或该??体生存、繁盛的物质与精神的生活方式”[1]。由于地理环境和自然条件不同，导致历史文化背景差异，从而形成了明显与地理位置有关的文化特征，这种文化就是区域文化。相对于国家和民族文化这种大文化而言，区域文化则是一种小文化，是一个区域甚至村落在漫长的时空演进中自然形成的一种乡民社会心理和群体生活习俗[2]。拥有“崇文尚武”社会心
