Process and method aim: Enable the students to talk about animals. 3. Emotion aim: Help the students learn how to listen to and talk about animals. II.Teaching difficulty: Target languages: Let’s see the pandas. Why do you want to see the pandas? Because they’re cute. Where are pandas from? They are from China. III.Teaching procedures: Step1.Greetings: Step2: Presentation of words of different kinds of animals. Tiger,giraffe,elephant,koala,panda… Step3:Match the words with the animals in the picture.(1a) Step4:Presentation of the description words. Step5:Listening:(1b) In the zoo, some people are talking about the animals. Let’s listen and check the animals you hear. Step6:Listening and reading: Read after the teacher. Step7:Pairwork. I’d like you to talk about the animals you like with your partner. Then share your conversation with us. Step8:Presentation the sentence structure of Where are pandas from? They are from China. Then practice in groups. Step9:Listening.(2a) Listen and write the animas you hear. Draw a line from the animals to the description words and the countries they are from. Step10:Survey. Make a survey about three or four students around you, then do a report for us. Step11:Exercise.
