Good morning my dear judges, I am Captain, from The College of Foreign Languages, it is my great honor to have this opportunity to talk about my teaching ideas today, the material of my presentation is unit4, The New Target English, Grade Eight. My presentation consists of nine parts 各位老师早上好,我是来自外国语学院的队长,非常荣幸能有这次机会在这里跟各位谈论我的教学思想.今天我说课的内容是人教版新目标八年级下册第四课,一共九部分. Part 1 Analysis of teaching material 第一部分教材分析 This is a reading lesson. The main content of this lesson is about a volunteer who worked as a teacher in rural areas, Gansu Province. The lesson is made up of three parts, “Before you read, While you read and After you read”. In last class Students have learnt how to use reported speech. If Students learn this lesson well, they can not only consolidate the grammar points they have learnt but also develop the ability of reading and writing. 这是一堂阅读课, 说的是一个志愿者在甘肃农村支教的事情. 这部分内容大体上可以分成三部分即, 阅读前,阅读时和阅读后. 在前几节课学生已经学习了间接引语的知识.如果同学们这一课时掌握得好的话,同学们既可以巩固所学语法点又可以培养自己读写的能力. Part 2 Analysis of the students 第二部分 分析学生 Most of the students are at the age of 13 or 14, they are full of curiosity and they are eager to show their abilities. Students have learnt English for over five years; I think they can learn the new words and phrases by themselves. However, they are weak in reading and writing. So developing Students’ abilities of reading and writing is an important point as well as a difficult point. 初二的学生一般都十三四岁,他们对新知识充满好奇,并渴望展示自己的能力.他们已经学习英语有五年多,我认为他们有自主学习新单词和短语的能力,但是读写能力依然薄弱,所以培养学生的读写能力既是重要的环节也是比较困难的环节. Part 3 Teaching objectives 第三部分 教学目标 Knowledge objective: to help students understand some new words and useful expressions, such as: volunteer, graduate, rural areas, sea level, feel sick, open up sb’s eyes and so on. Improve students reading skills by guessing the meaning of the new words according to the context. 知识目标:帮助学生理解掌握新的单词和表达, 诸如, 志愿者, 大学生, 农村地区, 海平面, 开阔某人的视野等等. 提高学生联系上下文猜词的阅读技能 Ability objective: to cultivate students’ abilities of learning by themselves
