At the same time, the extensive use of antifungal agents has led to the development of drug-resistant strains. This review summarizes the clinical symptoms, the development of detection methods, the devel- opment and resistance mechanism of drug-resistant strains, and the development and usage of antifungal agents so as to provide a basis for diagnosis and treatment of candidiasis.
