华中科技大学硕士学位论文 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II 于高校加强师资队伍建设,却导致高校新教师的入职门槛提升,入职待遇降低,职 业稳定性降低,国内“土”博士的生存环境日渐恶化,从而会产生优秀博士从学术 职业中的“逃离”等不利影响。要实现高校新教师的供需平衡,首先要控制封闭式 学科博士的培养规模,相应扩大适应市场需要的专业型博士的培养规模;其次,鼓 励在职教师进修,提升博士学位获得者在在职教师中的比例;最后,提高学术职业 本身的新陈代谢功能,健全教师的退出机制。 关键词:学术劳动力市场;新教师;供需状况;历史学科 III III Abstract New faculty is a special sort, they get their PhD from universities. meanwhile they get the job in the universities. We definite it as a sort which with supply and demand. This organizational structure due to a closed system. In this system new faculty will be influenced by the change of the supply and the demand. In the past 20 years, the number of doctorates increases rapidly in the world which breaks the balance between the supply and demand. A surplus of PhD appear in America and Japan which prevent doctorates come into academic profession smoothly. As same as other countries, the number of doctorates increases rapidly in china since 1999, but on the other hand , the demand of new faculty is decreasing generally because of the end of the policies of expanding college enrollment and evaluation of undergraduate education. This study aim to demonstrate whether the changes would lead to the imbalance between supply and demand of new faculty in china. In this study, I used literature methods and historical comparison. on the basis of an study of academic labor market characteristics, I construct a analytical model of new teachers by type of supply and demand situation changes. At the nest step ,I study New Teachers historical evolution of supply and demand and factors that influence it. Then determine the pattern of supply and demand. At last, I discuss concrete measures to achieve a balanced supply and demand. The conclusion of this study as fellow: Academic labor market with high-end, stability, discipline and hierarchy of four characteristics. New faculty living in the bottom of the academic profession and with one of the characteristics of supply and demand side. The supply of
