pulse wave collecting device and A-pulse CASP software. ②CASP was increased with age and BMI. CASP increases 0.469mmHg with each increase of 1year old, and 0.352mmHg with BMI. ③CASP was less than 120mmHg in normal people.CASP and RAI in atherosclerosis group and in simple hypertension group were both higher than those in normal group,while PRT lower. ④ Hypertensive patients of which brachial blood pressure were controlled below 140/90mmHg have lower CASP and RAI than those above the level,while no significant difference as for PRT. ⑤ About 33% of hypertensive patients whose brachial blood pressure were controlled below 140/90mmHg had significantly higher CASP than normal subjects,while no significant difference was found in RAI and PRT.As to Hypertensive patients whose brachial blood pressure were controlled below 140/90mmHg,those with higher CASP(120mmHg) had higher brachial SBP,DBP and PP. ⑥Serum lipid level had no linear correlation with CASP and vessel function parameters. ⑦CASP was positively correlated to blood glucose.Control of blood glucose level ,especially postprandial blood glucose improved SBP,DBP,CASP and RAI,PRT. Conclusions ①Stability test confirmed great repeatability and stability of Bpro pulse wave collecting device and A-pulse CASP software. ②CASP was increased with age and BMI.With each increase of 1year old,CASP increases 0.469mmHg, and 0.352mmHg with BMI. Serum lipid level had no linear correlation with CASP and vessel function parameters ③CASP was less than 120mmHg in normal people.④Enhanced anti-hypertensive therapy in hypertensive patients contributes to lowering CASP and improving vessel compliance.⑤Control of brachial blood pressure cannot totally represent central blood pressure.⑥Management of glucose in diabetes contributes to lowering CASP and improving vessel compliance.
