However, the financing difficulty has increasingly been becoming a bottleneck of retarding the development of private SMEs in Wuhan. Over the years, although the Wuhan government adopted a series of measures to improve the financing environment for SMEs, it is still difficult to make effective relief. Particular, in the current condition of serious inflation expectations, and Chinas implementation of prudent monetary policy, the operating costs of private SMEs have been rising, and financing conditions have become particularly difficult. This paper would study the current private SMEs financing problems in Wuhan. how to solve financing difficulty, has become the focal point which our country government and theorists pay special attentions to. This paper would study the current financing problems faced by Wuhan private SMEs, through the macro-statistics and the research data on Wuhan private SMEs as well as financial institutions, the paper would analyze the development of private SMEs in Wuhan and financing conditions. According the theoretical and empirical analysis of the financing environment, the financing structure and characteristics, the financing status and financial factors for Wuhan private SMEs, the paper would reach the seriousness of the plight of Wuhan private SMEs financing. By comparing some financing experience and strategies of developed countries and regions, as well as some of Chinas provinces, from the point of view of financial market environment, financial institutions and private SMEs’ behavior, the paper would reach the reason of the financing difficulty of Wuhan private SMEs, and suggest on the establishment of the private SME financing system consisting of government support, the legal protection, the credit guarantee and financial support system.
