During the process of translation, the author put the readers as first according to the demand of the company, solved problems with different translation strategies and skills. This translation report is divided into four parts. Part One gives a brief introduction to the source of the text, the author’s writing style and the content of target text. Part Two records a process of translation, preparation, translation and checking, and sums up problems and phenomenon occurring in each phase. The translation difficulties are solved under the Skopostheorie put forward by German Functionalist School. Based on translation difficulties encountered in the process of translation, Part Three makes a detailed illustration of translation skills from the following six aspects: literal translation, amplification subtraction, inappropriate person perspective, sentences simplification and omission, reconfiguration. In this part the author combines the theories and detailed examples to show the appropriateness of the improved translation. Finally the author reflects on the translation, stating the qualities that a translator should possess and the author’s realization of the importance of improving her Chinese as well as English.
