采用以学生为中心教学方法来提高教学效果 　　摘要：本篇论文主要研究和论述在基础英语教学中一些新方法的实施与运用。文章以新的观点作为论题即在基础英语教学中教师应采用以学生为中心的教学方法去实施教学的每一个步骤，结合本人在教学中的实践采用了分析法、例证法分别从三个主要方面来阐述观点。 　　关键词：听说 演示 角色扮演 　　 　　1. Introduction 　　 　　As an English teacher I have studied the junior English for several years. According to new standard of fundamental education, teachers have many puzzles in the procedures of teaching. But I think teaching methods is very important for students if we want to practice new teaching model. I try to look for some skills to deal with this problem. 　　 　　2. Problem 　　 　　 In our china, the teachers are all normally geared to operate via the traditional teacher-centered approach, in which instructions are almost entirely under the control of the teaching staff, in English class teaching. This kind of forced-feeding method of teaching plays an unfavorable role in English teaching. For instance, language teachers are seen exclusively as individuals who hold and transmit language. They are not only directors of the teaching process, but also the mere instruments of the expert who provides a method to be implemented in the classroom. That means, they possess the kind of control over the amount, sequencing, and frequency of usage of the items the learners produce or receive . 　　 　　3. Problem analysis and research 　　 　　Stevick once said: “It is vital important to place ‘learning principle ’ before ‘teaching principle’ So, while conventional approach is dominated by teacher, the pupil-centered approach is dominated by teacher in modern teaching. Some experts of modern pedagogy believe that in class, the teacher plays supportive rather than central roles. Its real center is the pupils. The role of the teacher is that he must be concerned with providing an environment that will supply the appropriate sort of input and in which the learner can engage in creative interaction; assist the learner to develop a natural capacity to communicate in another language . 　　3.1 Listening and speaking
