Abstract
People realize that the future will be a lifelong learning society, only to learn and have the ability of lifelong learning can keep pace with the times in this society which changing with each passing days. Chinese new basic education reform is pointed out that the cultivation of students independent learning ability is an aspect of quality-oriented education and is also one of the key points of the study for school education and teaching management. So what’s the actual situation of students independent learning and how to implement the cultivation of students independent learning ability in the actual management of school? This study used questionnaire survey, interviews and other
research methods to prepare the 9th grade students independent learning in scale, at the
same time Inquiry into 9th grade students independent learning situation and carry out the difference analysis for their regional, gender, whether the only child, family atmosphere etc.
The study investigation object are the 620 students independent learning situation and influence factors who from the second middle school of Jiang Yin City, Lu Qiao middle school and Xin Qiao middle school. It could provide the measuring basis for proving the independent learning situation and influence factors of 9th grade students and the results are as follows:
9th grade students’ independent learning investigation questionnaire which contains
five aspects: learning motivation, learning monitoring, learning strategy, active consciousness, learning expectations and attitudes and the results indicate that the general situation of independent learning of 9th grade students of Jiang Yin city is satisfactory.
