Structure Design and Research of Guide Rail for Billet Mold Processing Device Abstract Billet mold is the key component of the large-scale continuous casting machine in the domestic iron and steel enterprises, but it belongs to consumables and demand is bigger. Waste of mould copper tube after repaired can be used again in production, it reduces the production cost of enterprises. But repairing technology for mould copper tube is the biggest problem faced by the iron and steel enterprises. In order to solve this problem, this paper aims to study the repair for inner surface of mould copper tube, a careful analysis of linear structure and channel characteristics for inner surface of mould copper tube and its forming method and motion have been studied. According to the metal cutting process, the profiling milling method is used for cutting and repairing inner surface of mould copper tube. According to the structure characteristics of billet mold and structural design requirements of the machine tool . A special device for repairing inner surface of billet mold has been developed. Arc sliding rail structure, block structure, gap adjusting device have been designed in detail mainly according to the stress analysis of guide rail in this paper. The paper also describes the structure characteristics and the role of the arc rail mobile device, fixing device, the fixing device of the arc guide rail. 3D model of the whole set of equipment has been established. Dynamic characteristic of billet mold processing device has been analyzed by using ANSYS Workbench, got the model’s natural frequency and deformation frequency response function curve. Finally, we found the arc guide rail as the main vibration deformation area. The cross-sectional dimensions of guide rail are multi-objective optimization designed by using Design Explorer module of ANSYS Workbench.
