Abstract Urbanization is necessary for civilization and development of our society, and then urban housing removal is a required choice of city development in China. The paper makes the problem of urban housing removal in the background of social transformation as a field of research and focuses on the agents’action choicesunder the circumstances of benefit conflict in the process of urban housin g removal in sociology. The research adopts benefit-correlationer as analyzing tool. It’s a positivism research about urban housing removal in Harbin by case study and course-matter analyzing. First of all, the author defines and identifies the main benefit agents (local government, developer and transmigrant) in theory in a general way. Hereby, author analyses the benefit relations and the essential of benefit conflicts between different agents. Secondly, author discusses the agents’ action choices and their action logic under the circumstances of benefit conflict in the process of urban housing removal according to the typical cases in theory and practice. Thirdly, author creates the proper pattern of interaction between benefit agents in allusion to various conflicts in demolition and relocation. The research indicates, local government, developer and transmigrant all take multifarious struggle games in order to scrabbling for benefits furthest under the circumstances of benefit conflict in the process of urban housing removal in the struggle, the main goal of local government is showing achievements in their posts; the main goal of developer is figuring for most monetary interest; and the main goal of transmigrant is acquireing most expiation.
