to form a new community governance mode which is common cooperation managed and cooperated by government, community autonomy organization, community citizen becomes the hot topic of scholars study. This article selects Pujiang , Minhang district of Shanghai as the research object, and the multiple mechanism participate of the city community governance is beginning to research and describing the community development and characteristics in the urbanization process, and analysing the present situation involved by many parties in urban community governance, and putting forward the idea that how to build up the multiple cooperation mode of new community governance. The paper is composed by five parts: The first part is the introduction. One is to expound the background and meaning of the research;Two is to review the situation both at home and abroad, and introduce the the research direction and management mode of the community management at home and abroad; Three is to introduce its research methods and research content. The second part summarizes the association and development history between the urban community and community management. One is to define the concept of the urban community, urbanization process and community management; Two is to review the development course of the urban community governance, and to describe the change of the community management sys tem from stage to stage to government leading ,and continuing to now. The third part made what the status and relationship of the city community multiple participation is clear. Through the specific analysis of the community governance network in the Pujiang town, Minhang district of Shanghai, we make the position of the community governance participation subject clear (including government, residential neighborhood committees, the party organization, the residents, other social organizations), and expound the relationship among the main body.
