Traditional culture’s value significance to ideological and political education in colleges Abstract Chinese traditional culture is the national culture system with distinctive characteristics forms in the evolution progress of thousands years’ Chinese nation, extensive and profound, long-standing and well-established, closely connects with ethnic ideology and code of conduct. Ideological and political education is a kind of social practical activity which can lead people to form morality needed, with ideological conception, political view and moral standard’ influence conducted by the society or social groups purposefully and designedly. The youth stage is the golden stage in one’s life and active period to obtain new things. Colleges students are the pioneers of the youth, it will give rise of social influence and status with the age growing and knowledge accumulating. The moral status and mental outlook will influence the society development directly. The main study purpose of the article is to analyze the value meanings and negative effects to college student’s traditional culture have, and provide applying principles and approaches for colleges Ideological and political education. The author combines other scholars’ views to analyze with inductive methods, extending method, literature review method and history analysis method, under the instruction of ‘Three people together, there must someone better than me in some area. Learn his good side, remove the bad side’. O ne side, absorb excellent present studying results. on the other side, collect relevant data and information to conclude own materials and opinions to strengthen article’s e ffectiveness and authenticity.
