THE RESARCH ON THE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN REAL ESTATE ENTERPRISES ABSTRACT As China’s opening to the world and the boost of the real estate development, real estate enterprises are facing severe competition and challenge. Therefore, if a real estate enterprise would like to develop in a sustaining and sound way, it needs to establish a scientific, sound, normative and effective performance management system step by step to strengthen the over-all quality and improve the core competitiveness. In fact, there are so many problems in the process of performance management, and such problems have become the bottleneck to restrict an enterprise to develop in a sound and speedy way. Based on the theories of performance management and combined the specialty of the real estate industry, this paper analyses the performance management in real estate enterprises. Firstly, this paper analyses the current situation of performance management in real estate enterprises and then points out: (1) there are no direct link between the strategic objectives and the performance goals in so many enterprises; (2) there remains enormous inadequacies in performance management system itself; (3) there will need to improve the idea of the performance management. Accordingly, the author deduces the significance of the study on the performance management that only those enterprises which have established a sound performance management system are able to get the team performing at a higher level, and the employee in such enterprises are able to attain faster development. Secondly, using case study method, the author analyses the current situation and the problems of performance management system in A Company, thereby puts forward a performance management system and proposals for A Company and give a demonstration for performance indicators and performance rating scale.
