名词性从句教案
一、教学目标:
1、理解名词性从句的概念。
2、熟练运用名词性从句,尤其在写作中能熟练使用。
3、通过运用名词性从句,学会分析复杂句式,增强学好英语的信心。
二、教学重点:
区分名词性从句(主语从句、表语从句、宾语从句、同位语),以及各个从句引导词的确定。
三、教学难点:
名词性从句与定语从句的区别,尤其是同位语从句与定语从句辨别。
四、教学过程:
Step1.?? Review the Attributive clause.
通过提问,复习定语从句,并让六位学生在黑板上分别写出有that, which, whose, when, where, why 引导的定语从句。然后讨论分析下面句式:
1.?? The boys who are playing football are from Class One.
2.???? Mr. Liu is the person (whom) you talked with on the bus.
3.???? Football is a game which is liked by most boys.
4.???? This is the pen (which) he bought yesterday.?
5.???? The number of the people that/who come to visit the city each year rises one million.
6.???? Do you like the book whose color is yellow?
7.???? I still remember the day when I first came to the school.
8.???? The house where I lived ten years ago has been pulled down.
9.???? I don’t know the reason why he looks unhappy today.
Step2.? Presentation?
展示与定语从句不同的四类句式——名词性从句,让学生辨别每个句子的成分,尤其是主语,宾语,表语和同位语。

Step3? Discussion and Explanation
(一)主语从句在句中作主语1. That mathematics finds its use in every science is evident.2. Whoever is tired may rest.3. Why the earth moves round the sun is quite clear now.
4. It is evident (that) mathematics finds its use in every science.
(二) 宾语从句在句中作宾语5. I thought (that) you had read the book.6. We should learn to tell whether an element is poisonous or not.7. Do you know who invented this?
8. The experiment makes it clear that air has pressure.
(三)表语从句在句中做表语
9. The trouble is that I have lost his telephone number.
10. The question is whether they will be able to help us.
(四)同位语从句在句中作补充说明名词及其短语的从句11. I am in doubt whether I should buy or not.12. He expressed his hope that he would visit China again.
