The up-space of building has been utilized efficiently through the solid landscape planning, which has increased the urban green area, has provided new leisure site for people, and has broken a new path for urban greening construction. Therefore, indubitably, urban solid landscape has great importance and significance. This essay is has discussed the new way of solid urban greening in view of eco-landscape. Primarily, it has concluded the development and deficiency of the way of urban solid greening from the tentative exploration. Next in time, it has analyzed the essential principle of urban solid greening. At the same time, based on the combination of eco-landscape and solid greening, it has established the theory and direction of urban solid greening design, and how to implement its function in the real cases. Eventually, the theoretical foundation has been formed by summarizing the design approach and design elementary application. However, it is necessary that lots of theory and technology could be improved in order to adapt to the urban solid greening design. For the sake of making dream becomes true, there are still lots of work should be done in the further research. What this article are more asks some questions, offers a few ordinary introductory remarks so that others may offer their valuable ideas, causes the professional and societys value.
