发动机双燃料PPCI燃烧试验及数值模拟研究-动力机械及工程专业论文
Abstract
With the pressure of worlds energy crisis and environmental protection, Many strategies have been widely investigated all over the world to meet the requirements of the high efficiency and low emissions on internal combustion engine. Homogeneous Charge Compression Tgnition(HCCT) combustion mode is one of the typical. However, the control of ignition timing and burning rate of HCCT is more difficult than the conventional diesel engine, resulting in limited operating range of HCCT engine. Tn this study, a dual-fuel engine using direct injection of diesel and a port injection of gasoline was practically attempted to achieve very low NOx and Soot emission in a wider operation range than HCCT.
Gasoline injection system and control units ,including hardware circuit design, control procedures as well as upper PC control software, were developed to suit for dual-fuel PPCT mode. Tn the last, the static flow rate of the gasoline injector was calibrated. the results show that the system can well meet the test requirements and can flexible control of fuel injection parameters.
The experimental and CFD simulation researches of dual-fuel PPCT were made based on this 4- stroke diesel engine. Simulation results show that, the timing of direct injection of diesel is very important to dual-fuel PPCT combustion. this can be an effective method to solve the control of igniton timing in this combustion mode. The experimental results show that, the dual-fuel PPCT combustion has the potential to reduce the NOx and Soot emission at the same time. That means the problem of NOx and soot trade-off can be solved by this method. When the gasoline percentage varys from 0 to 0.8, the fluctuation of gross thermal efficiency is within 5%, but the NOx and Soot emissions decreased
rapidly. Both of them were almost zero emission when the gasoline percentage is over 0.8,
but in the same time, THC and CO emissions were increased very much.
