Abstract With the accelerated development of our urbanization,some city life garbage landfills in the suburb have already been in the town,which have become the important source of pollution in the city.On one hand,the city life garbage landfills which are outage need to be closed and eliminated its pollution.On the other hand,for the lack of urban public relaxing space,how to restore vegetations and reconstruct the landscape so that the current resource and energy can be recycling consumed to a maximum degree,besides, respecting the reginal history context and the spirit of venue and designing the landscape according to the local conditions so that the ecological environment could be restored and the landscape could be regenerated and sustained,have been the attentional focus to the scholars in the related fields in the current period of sustainable development in the economy society. This dissertation researches on landfill vegetation and landscape reconstruction .The research on this special landscape is combined of restoration ecology, landscape ecology, la ndscape planning and design theory, sustainable development theory. The influence field v egetation recovery factor of city life garbage landfill is analyzed, and landscape reconstruct ion of city life garbage landfill is analyzed by city residents survey.This dissertation combi ned with the successful domestic and foreign cases to explore the landscape reconstruction methods, mode, strategy and method. Finally, the city life garbage landfill revegetation and landscape reconstruction values, design, professional technology and management mechan ism are summarized.The concrete research contents and results are as follows: (1)Through the literature reading, the landscape reconstruction related concepts and basic t heory of city life garbage landfill field vegetation restoration is made clear. Through the res earch on the progress at home and abroad, the dissertation summarizes the influence, status of city lif
