Establishment of Three-dimensional Finite Element Model of Femoral Neck Fracture in Child and Three-dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Children Femoral Neck Screw ABSTRACT Background At present,with the rapid development of computer and software technology, finite element analysis has found wide applications gradually in search of bone biomechanics,which has achieved notable results and play made one of the most significant studying methods in bone biomechanics. Femoral neck fracture is rare in children orthopaedics,the incidence make up only 1% of all types of children fractures.High-energy damage which can lead to femoral neck fracture caused by road accidents or falling from high altitude do in most children(85 %～90 %) which have tough femoral head and neck.This is different from femoral neck fracture in adults.Recently,with the full-speed development of traffic,the incidence of femoral neck fracture in children keep increasing. Because of the blood supply and anatomical characteristics of the proximal femur, children femoral neck fracture often lead to serious complications which the incidence can be as high as 20% to 92%, such as avascular necrosis, coxa vara, epiphyseal plate early closed, limb length inequality et al.
