Abstract The annual investment in fixed assets reaches 25 billion yuan in Daqing Petroleum Administration Bureau, and reaches around 100 million yuan in the Triumph Group. To ensure the safety of project investment is the most important condition for decision. It is very important and necessary to sum up the positive-negative project experiences and accumulate knowledge for future projects. Study on methods of project post evaluation seriously and systematically, and exercise those methods in practice, which is great practical significance for summing up experiences and lessons, providing valuable experiences for the operation of the future projects, reducing the failure rate of investment, increasing the success rate of investment. In this thesis the current status of project post evaluation at home and abroad is briefed, the characteristics, methods and contents are studied. With the background, practical significance, and the actual characteristics of Daqing Petroleum Administration Bureau and the Triumph Group, it makes the project post evaluation for CPE. The comparative method (including any correlation, and after contrast), the logical framework method, and the success rate method are used , and the contents of project post evaluation covers preliminary work on the project, project implementation, the most contents of the project operation. In view of the result for the project post evaluation, makes a conclusion for it. With the problems that are found in the post-project evaluation, the workable and constructive suggestions are put forward in risk management, supervision management, operations management, post evaluation management for Daqing Petroleum Administration Bureau and the Triumph Group.
