◇ When he was born, the Phantom was so ugly that his mother made him wear a mask. 当这个幽灵出生的时候,他长得如此的丑陋,以致他妈妈强迫他带上面罩。
so… that …. “如此…以致…”也可以跟 “too…to…” 转换。
e.g. He was so happy that he couldn’t say a word. =He was too happy to say a word.
The child ran so fast that we couldn’t catch up him. =The child ran too fast for us to catch up with.

特殊疑问词可以后接动词不定式,相当于后接宾语从句。
e.g. 我无法决定该选哪一个。
I can’t decide which one to choose. =I can’t decide which one I should choose.
你能告诉我们如何到哪儿吗?
Can you tell me how to get there? = Can you tell me how I can get there?
