Abstract Abstract The Web2.0-based Management Information System (MIS) of Yunnan Committee of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) is constructed on the J2EE platform. This system is designed, structured and implemented based on the Model-View-Controller (MVC) mode. It can be divided into the following four tiers: Data Source, Data Persistence, Business Logic and Presentation. This system is constructed based on The Feasibiltiy Report of the MIS of Yunnan CPPCC. The design and implementation of the system complies with the following principles: openness, security, integrating and high-performance. The system is designed based on Web2.0. It introduces the ExtJs framework for the UI design. The Ajax technology is also applied into the system to implement the asynchronous communication with the background server. This document describes the detailed design of the system, and discusses the technologies applied in the system. The functionalities of the system has been implemented, and the system has been in commission in Yunnan CPPCC.
