Pupils are active and difficult to concentrate their minds，besides, they have poor understandings. Therefore, teaching with interest is necessary for achieving teaching objectives in the English listening classes* Based on the research of teaching with interest from both home and abroad，this essay focuses on specific methods and demands of realizing teaching with interest. Because of the ignorance of this theory and limitation of pupils9 somatopsychic characteristics, the teaching effect of primary school English listening is poor. The author suggests utilizing the objects or pictures，games and stories in the listening classes. At the same time, three demands are put forward in this essay. Only humorous and passionate teachers can make classes interesting; using multi-media properly; controlling the difficulty of listening materials and making students have a sense of success. Thus，students can learn in a harmonious environment, live in the fun of learning and improve the learning efficiency greatly.
