Lead in the topic “weather”. Step2 New lesson Show the pictures of weather ,ask students to say out the weather. T:How’s the weather? S s:It’s raining/ rainy /windy/cloudy/ sunny/snowing/snowy. Read the words. Students make conversations in pairs. Step3 Practice Give students some signs about weather,ask them to guess the meanings of them .Then talk about the weather of 5 cities. E g: How is the weather in ... ...?---It’s... .... 2.Look at a Chinese map.Talk about the weather again in groups. (Do a discussion) 3.Present to the class. Step4 Do a guessing game.(Group work) Look at the pictures,have students guess what they are doing.(A student guess,the others ask what he/she /they is/are doing.) If they answer correctly,give them prizes.(candies) Step5 Listening practice (1b,2a,2b) Listen to the tape first time ,finish 1b,2a,2b. Listen to the second time, check the answers. Read after the recorder. Step6 Summary Review the weather and teacher or students do some activities,let others guess what we are doing. Do exercise.
