2. 教学难点:能对一般过去时态熟练运用,描述过去的事件。
教学过程
Step 1 Review
The summer vacation is coming. How exciting! We can go to many different places and do many interesting things. Let’s have a look!
(Present a picture of the farm)
T: “What place is it?”
Ss: Farm.
T: Yes, it’s on the farm. What can we do on the farm?
Ss: feed chickens, milk a cow, ride a horse…
(Present all the phrases and let the students read together)
Present the pictures of the countryside, the zoo, the mountain, the beach and the zoo. Review the words in the same way.
Step 2 Lead-in
Now I would like to share my vacation with you. Please listen and take notes. Then please answer my questions.
(Present some pictures of my vacation)
Last summer vacation, I went to Wuhan with my friend. We took the train there. It was sunny and we had a great time.
In Wuhan, we met some of our classmates and we had dinner together. After that, we went to the movie. The movie was so interesting that we all loved it very much. We also went shopping and took quite a lot of photos. The gifts weren’t expensive and I bought some special gifts for my family. The next day, we visited our school. We were so happy to see our teachers again.
All in all, my last summer vacation was really excellent.
Now please answer my questions.
