In this paper, a history of the teaching reform and character- istics of the major w as review ed. A framework of the course system was presented according to the relationships between the courses and the needs of society. It is recommended that the course framework should include 6 basic courses, 5 lower and 2 upper level major courses, and 2 optional courses.
