Common Steel Plate Abstract Objective:To retrospectively observe 42 cases of Schatzker Ⅱtibial plateau fractures with LISS plates and common steel plates in order to contrast clinical effect results. Methods: Collected 42 cases of Schatzker Ⅱfractures of tibial plateau, of 19 cases treated with LISS plates and of 23 cases treated with common steel plates from January 2010 to December 2013. The patients were evaluated clinically using the HSS (The Hospital for Special Surgery knee-rating score) systems.Two methods were studied statistically to find out their correlation with clinical results. Results: Forty-two cases Schatzker type Ⅱ postoperatively in patients with tibial plateau fractures were followed up for 6 to 18 months, an average of 12 months.All are cured with union and no one is nonunion. Using the Knee Society clinical rating system,in the LISS group,17 knees were rated as excellent, seven as good, 2 as fair;in the common steel group , 20 knees were rated as excellent, 3 as fair.The exellent rate of LISS group was 89.47%;The common steel group was 86.96%. The results showed that the clinical effect of the treatment of tibial plateau fractures with two methods of internal fixation has no statistical significance (p 0.05) Conclusion: The postoperative clinical efficacy of treatment of tibial plateau fractures with LISS plate and common steel plate are reliable. Two methods of internal fixation treating Schatzker type Ⅱ tibial plateau fracture have no diffe
