ABSTRA(-rABSTRACT ABSTRA(-r ABSTRACT Information Appliances(IA)refers to the combination of micro-computer and communications technology into the traditional household appliances．It makes appliances become intelligent and have the abilities to obtain and process information at any moment．Most of the current Information Appliances products are based on TCP／IPv4，which is encountering the shortage of address spaco．Base on TCP／IPv6， which is also the next generation Intemet protocol standard，Information Appliances system has been designed，and the main processor is$3C2410，a hiIgh performance -price ratio and ARM·core processor． Firstly,the system’s general project is proposed,and then describes the hardware and software design process ofsystem’s two modules,including the network terminals module which is for the transmission and processing of information and the appliance controller module which is for the direct control of appliance．Through the transplantation of Embedded operating system linux2．6．14，web server and application program，a small IPv6-based Information Appliances system has been implemented． The system can work fine and stable after troubleshooting with computcr in the 口V6 test netwofk environment,and tllcy can be controlled through IPv6 network． The Information Appliances system based on this paper has the characteristics of flexibility，simplicity，and high-adaptability in the applications，and has a good ref；crence value to the Information appliance industry． Key words：IPv6，InformationAppliances，Network terminal，ARM)*Linux ll 第1章绪论第1章绪论 第1章绪论 第1章绪论 1．1信息家电及其相关技术 1．1．1信息家电技术的研究现状 随着计算机技术、通信技术、工业控制技术和电子技术的发展，家庭的信息 化、智能化和网络化开始成为人们关注的热点。传统的家用电器开始革新并被赋 予信息功能，具有了“网络家电”的内涵。网络家电是家庭网络化的基础，也是住 宅智能化的关键。网络家电要进入普通百姓家庭，就必须加快研究新的网络家电 实现技术，开发出低成本、易使用的网络家电“1。 个人计算机经过20多年的迅猛发展，开始进入到“后PC时代”。现在的PC 机功能更完善，运算速度更快，操作也更复杂，不易被普通百姓接受。更重要的 是现有PC的许多功能并不适合普通家庭需要，造成了功能闲置，资源浪费。PC 机要真正走入家庭，就要改变过去以计算机为核心的“一人一机”模式，转向以家 庭为核心的“看不见的电脑”模式，即后PC运动的鼻祖——美国人唐·诺尔曼阐述 的“执行单一任务的、无处不在的电脑”。 所谓信息家电，也称网络家电
