In the third chapter, we analyze the three textual functions of the preposition frame “PX yǐ hòu”. They are the government-bounding function, the time-limited function and the connection function. In addition, under certain conditions, “PX yǐ hòu” has the narrative function and the anaphora function. In the chapter four, we mainly analyze the appearance and the default of the preposition P and the location noun “yǐ hòu”, when the preposition frame “PX yǐ hòu” is in a sentence. Normally, it is ok that the preposition P appears or not, when the preposition frame “PX yǐ hòu” is placed at the initial of the sentence and the location noun “yǐ hòu” appears. The preposition P should be appear, when the preposition frame “PX yǐ hòu” is placed at the middle of the sentence and the location noun “yǐ hòu” appears. Normally, it is ok that the location noun “yǐ hòu” appears or not, when the preposition P appears. The location noun “yǐ hòu” should be appear, when the preposition P do not appears. In chapter five, we make a diachronic research of the preposition frame “PX yǐ hòu”. The frame “zì X yǐ hòu” appears firstly. Then, the frame “cóng X yǐ hòu” appears. Finally, the frame “dǎ X yǐ hòu” appears. Moreover, the appearance of the frame “zì X yǐ hòu” is be restricted by the frame “zì……yǐ……”. In this thesis，we observe the preposition frame “PX yǐ hòu” from different angles carefully and thoroughly. This is the greatest contribution of the paper.
