PAGE PAGE IV ABSTRACT a stable platform, which must be safe, reliable and compactable for distribution clusters database servers and advanced design concept. The system adopts Browser/Server structure, Linux as its platform, Postgres as its database, PHP as its developing language. With the knowledge of software engineering and such technology as the analyzing method of faced objective (OO) and COM(component object model) technology, this system is designed and developed from different aspects. For the large numbers of users, the slony project is provided to deal with the distribution master-clusters system. This system will make it very convenient for the net workers to finish the teachers’ resource management, the teaching management and the students’ staff management, and improve the working efficiency. And the system will be made good to maintain, safe to run, easy to master, and have clear interfaces. Besides, the database should have a record of daily operations, which can be finished in the data visiting pack. Although the daily record cannot guard against abnormal operations, it can do an index to the operation of the customers, which can let the managing persons, to an extent, understand the abnormal operations and provide some useful data for the perfection of the system.
