Teaching Analysis(教材分析)
Text Analysis:
This unit is mainly talking about future intentions with the pattern of want to be, be going to while learning the what, how, where and when questions. All the activities are carried out around the topic of “Life Goals”. The first period serves as an introduction and lead-in part. During this part the goal was introduced and the main topic of this unit was also presented, just like a warming up it plays, it is acceptable to review what they have learnt in Grade Seven and to transfer to the new language.The materials in talking are mostly from the recent real life and are familiar to the students.
Students’learnng Analysis:
Students have learnt that we can use Present Continues to express Future in Unit Three. It is easy for them to learn how to express Future Intentions with be going to…,and they also have known some jobs in Grade Seven. But it is difficult for them to express how to do that.

professional basketball player, computer programmer, pilot, engineer, grow up, take acting lessons, study computer science
