T;Oh, you are really relaxed.But I am very busy .I need to do many chores.
Lets look at the pictuers and cay you say the chores in English.
Step2 Presentation
Teach the phrases;“take out the rubbish,fold the clothes,make the bed ,do the dishes,sweep the floor”by using guessing ganes.
T;What kind of chores chores do I do at home?Can you guess?
T;Yes,I need to...Ithink chores are easy and fun.Now Let’s have fun.
Bed,bed,make the bed.Floor,floor,sweep the floor.
Dishes,dishes,do the dishes.Fold,fold ,fold the clothes.Rubbish,rubbish,take out the rubbish.
Chores,chores,Ilike doing chores.
Have a talk with students and then ask them to make a list of the things they often do at home .If you dont,from now on,help your parents do some chores.
Step3.Pairwork
Ask them to read chores in 1a and choose some students to say what chores they do at home。
Step4 Presentation
Let students look at the picture on page 17.ask them to describe it.(Its dirty).then teach the word mess.Point to the rubbish and ask the question;What do you think Peters mother can say to Peter?
