PAGE PAGE VI III III THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMMERCIAL HEALTH INSURANCE IN GUANGXI ABSTRACT In recent years, with the rapid development of economy and society in Guangxi, peoples living standard has been significantly improved, more and more people began to become increasingly concerned about health issues, as a result, the demand for health protection continues to increase. Commercial health insurance, as an important part of the social health insurance system, plays an increasingly important role in public health protection. However, Guangxi lags behind the development of commercial health insurance, so, there’s an urgent need to study it to promote its further development. What’s more, under the current urbanization, New medical reform background, the development of Guangxi commercial health insurance is equally important for steady and rapid economic and social development in Guangxi . Because of the importance for its development, the paper hopes to further understand the current situation through in-depth study of commercial health insurance in Guangxi, and analyze factors that influence the development of commercial health insurance in Guangxi, then make some realistic and constructive comments for the development of Guangxi, which to some extent can facilitate the development of Guangxi Commercial Health Insurance. This paper uses such methods as literature study, analysis of qualitative research and quantitative research. The text is divided into six chapters. The first chapter, for the analysis and summarization on the domestic and international commercial health insurance , which provides a solid and reliable theoretical basis for this study on Guangxi commercial health insurance market. The second chapter makes a brief introduction for the concepts and categories of commercial health insurance, which can help deepen the awareness of commercial health insurance.
