T hen a m odel fo rm ercury drop lets w ith on ly action o f gravitation is se-t up. The funct ion equation o f free surface is solved w ith MATLA B. W ith the smi u lation results, the curves for free surface functions are plotted in case of only accelerat ion o f grav ity. F ina lly the factors affecting the smi ulation is an- alyzed. M odeling and smi u lating form ercury drop le ts under the action of grav itational accelerat ion w ill be helpfu l to study of acce lerom eter u sing m ercury.
