联绵词的认识，三是对方言词汇的研究。其中对鲁方言词汇的大量记载和考释， 联绵词的认识，三是对方言词汇的研究。其中对鲁方言词汇的大量记载和考释， 除能为鲁方言提供正确的方言字、揭示鲁方言历史原貌外，还提供了一批宝贵的 古语词材料。 第六章语法学部分，分别从桂馥对虚词的阐释、对词类及短语结构关系的分 析以及对语义关系的分解三方面来论述其在语法学方面的成就。 第七章结语部分，简单介绍一下桂馥语言学研究的意义。 关键词：语言学：文字：训诂：音韵：词汇：语法 分类号：Hl—09 II Gui Gui Fu’s Linguistics Research Abstract Shuowen，by Duan Yucai，Gui Fu,Wang Yun and Zhu Junsheng represents the brilliant stage of the study of the novels in Qing dynasty．The four people are therefore known as‘the four great scholars of Shuowerl’belonging to the Qianjia School，with Duan prominent in the south and Gui in the north． Quite a lot research has been made on DuanYucai in terms of his achievements and shortages，but comparatively fewer efforts are devoted to the study ofGui Fu． Generally,scholars agree that his study is famous and valued because of the abtmdance of materials covering a、】vidc range of resources including,ling,Shi，Z／，J／， ete．For this reason,his work has long been valued in the perspective of its abundance or quantity of material other than its linguistic significance．In this present work we attempt to explore his linguistic achievements targeting three of his most representative wo唯s namely Shuowenjieziyizheng、Zhapu、Wanxuefi in the hope of recovering his status in Chinese linguistics history． The thesis is composed ofthe following seven parts： Chapter One is the introduction of this thesis which includes the introduction of Gui Fu and his works，the comments from the later scholars and the present studies． Chapter Two deals wiⅡl philology study．Gui’s opinions in philology study are generally reliable since he devoted all his life to the study of Shuowen，especially in Mou Zhuan,Li Shu,and Ba Fen／7．Discussion in this chapter is developed in terms of． (1)his studies in Liu Shu，(2)his studies in character utilization ofancient books，and (3)his studies in the changing process ofChinese characters． Chapter Three looks into the seholium Study focusing on the utilization of the method ofscholium by Gui Fu,especial
