AbstractIn Abstract In the era of the adV趾ce and competition of sciences and technology,and in the background of the influences of different cultures on each other in the world,moral education as a science of psychology is facing the challenge of adj咖∞t and reformation．Due to the vicissitude and radical transformation of politics and economy,the youth and teenagers are facing a scries ofmoral problems,such as those of lack of public conccFns,of maintaining professional morality,of indifference of people to each other,ofdeterioration ofmoral characters．ctc．How t0 do a goodjob in school moral education in the new period to b血g up all-round(mor枷yintelligently, physically and aesthetically)developing，well-educated,self-disciplied and moral socialist builders and successors is all urgent task We have to take seriously．One way to do this is to learn from and use for reference the experiences of the school moral education in other countries．n峙school moral education in the U．S A a country tolerating different values,has played all important role in maintaining and promoting the stability and development of the society and in training qualified citizens．Therefore，to find oUt what has happened in school moral education in the U S and to learn from its successful exp_．,oriences，will provide useful references and inspiration for 0111school moral education． The thesis includes five palts-introduction；the backgro∞d of the U．S．school moral education；the status quo；features and analysis of the U．S．school moral education；and the inspiration from the U．S．school moral education and some considerations． Based upon the analyses above,the thesis proposes somo suggestions for OUr school moral education by summarizing the discussions above in three aspects：status quo problems of our school moral education；the analysis of the causes ofthe problems；and suggestions for improving our school moral education． Key words：Education．；Moral education； Comparative study betw@圮n China and U．S．丸 Ⅱ 学位论文
