重庆医科大学硕士研究生学位论文 NON-HDL-C FOR RISK OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE IN NEWLY DIAGNOSED TYPE 2 DIABETIC PATIENTS:A CORRELATION STUDY ABSTRACT Objective: To explore the association of non-high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol (non-HDL-C) with cardiovascular risk among patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Methods: The Framingham risk scores (FRS) for estimating the 10-year risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) were evaluated among 352 patients in our hospital with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes. The clinical data and biomedical analysis were collected. On the basis of FRS, the patients recruited were divided into high-risk group (FRS≥20%, 64 cases) and non-high-risk group (FRS20%, 288 cases). The differences of non-HDL-c and traditional CVD risk factors were compared between the two groups. The correlations of FRS with traditional CVD risk factors and non-HDL-c were assessed by bivariate correlation analysis. The association between non-HDL-c and high-risk FRS were evaluated by logistic regression. The predictive value of non-HDL-c for high-risk FRS was analyzed by ROC curve. Results: There were significantly differences in sex, age, history of smoking, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, creatinine, LDL-c, HDL-c, TG and non-HDL-c between the two groups. No difference in HbA1c and TC.
