教学设计
Ⅰ.Analysis:
This is the second period of unit 7 in the book of Grade 9. In this lesson, students will learn some information of an English poem and how to write a short poem in English. They have already learned English for more than 2 years and they can express themselves in simple English. The topic of this period is closely related to their life, so it’s easy to raise their learning interest and improve their self-confidence.
Ⅱ.Teaching Aims:
Students will be able to use “modal verbs +be done” to express their opinions.
Students will be able to know some information of English poems.
Students will be able to use skimming to find the main idea of the passage and scanning to find specific information.
Students will be able to write a short English poem using what they have learned.
Students are expected to understand their mom’s love.
Ⅲ.Teaching Important Points:
Help students to master the using ways of “modal verbs +be done”.
Help students to know some basic information of English poems.
Lead students to know and use reading strategies.
Encourage students to read and use English more.
