By the end of this 45-minute lesson, my Grade Seven students will be able to:

Teaching procedure:
Step 1 Greetings and lead in
1. Greet each other between teacher and the students.
2. Ask and answer
“What’s this in English? It’s a/an..., Where’s...? It’s...
Step 2 New words
1. Present some pictures to learn new words.
2. Finish 1a in the book . Match the things in the picture with the words.
3. Review the new words by challenging memory.
Step 3 Practice
Present some pictures. Use the picture to practice
“Do you have a/an...?
Yes, I do/ No, I don’t.
Practice in pairs. Then ask several pairs to act in front of the
students.
Step 4 Game
Play a game called “That’s me”. Ask the students to write five sentences by using the key sentence structure “I have a/an..., then ask one of them to stand up and read it aloud ,if someone else’s is the same as his/hers, stand up and say “That’s me”.
Step 5 Listening
1. Listen to the tape then finish 1b
2. Listen to the tape then finish 2a
3. Listen to the tape then finish 2b
Step 6 Presentation
1. Show some pictures to parctice :
