Step1 Warm-up/ Review
1.Let’s play a game: look and do(swim, do kung fu, dance, watch TV, … T: Is it interesting? Teach “interesting” –That’s interesting.
2. T: Today we’ll learn unit4 I have a pen pal (Present the new lesson.) Show the title and read together .
活跃课堂,为新知做好铺垫。
Step 2 Presentation/practice
1. Teach “hobby--hobbies”
Enjoy a song: “Jasmine Flower”, listen to the song, and teach “Chinese song ‘Jasmine Flower’ ”.
T: I like listening to music, it’s my hobby. Teach“hobby--hobbies”(read one by one)
2. let’s read: ppt shows the words about hobbies.
3.Pair work:
a. T : I like reading books, listening to music and shopping. What are your hobbies? Lead the Ss to answer: I like…and…
b. pair work: ask and answer then show your dialogue.
T: What are…’s hobbies? (lead the Ss to answer: She\He likes…)
c. T: Now, I know your and your friend’s hobbies. What about ZhangPeng’s hobbies? (look and say.)
4.Let’s try
a.Read the picture. T: Look, what are they doing?
They’re talking about the pen pal. (teach “pen pal”)
b. Listen and answer questions
