3.Ask and answer.
T: Look at the pictures.She’s a teacher.Yes or no?
Ss: Yes.
T: Does she teach English?
S1:No, she doesn’t.

Get 6 pairs to act out the dialogues according to the pictures .
Step 2 Presentation and drill
1. Teach“They are very different.”
T: Something new.
Tang Zhuo、Tang Ran ,come here, please.
(Point to the two Ss)
Tang Zhou and Tang Ran are twins. They look the same. Yes or no?
Ss: Yes.
T: Dong Hongyang, come here ,please.
(Point to Dong Hongyang and Tang Ran)
Do they look the same?
Ss: No.
T: They don’t look the same. They’re very different.
Tang Zhou and Tang Ran look the same. Dong Hongyang and Tang Ran don’t look the same. They are very different. Understand?
Ss: Yes.
T: OK! Go back to your seats, please. Thank you.
Look at the word“different”(Write the word different on the Bb)
①T: Read after me.
②Read the word one by one.
③T: Look at the picture. Who are they?
Ss: Chen Jie and Amy.
T: Do they look the same?
Ss: No.
T: They are very .
Ss: different.
T: Yes, they are very different.(CAI shows the picture and the sentence)
Who can read the sentence?
Get some Ss to read the sentence.
2.Teach “cartoon”
T: Look! Here are some cartoons.(CAI shows some cartoons)
They are cartoons.(To emphasize the word “cartoons”,and write the word “cartoons” on the Bb)
