ABSTRACT ABSTRACT With the rapid development of knowledge-based economy, talents have become the hot spot in the competition of modern enterprises. The attraction and detainment of talents and dredging up their capabilities can be possible only through the elevation of their sense of satisfaction, the enhancement of their identification with the enterprise and humanist management. The priority for a modern enterprise is the measurement and assessment of the sense of employee’s satisfaction and the betterment of its satisfaction-exalting management. The first section is an introduction of the background and line of empirical research. The second section presents a short history of research on the sense of employee’s satisfaction, introducing some common approaches and measuring tools. The third section details empirical researches on the college graduates who have just become new members in the SCJH, for the purpose of figuring out their satisfaction with their work in accordance with relevant theories and some rating scales and analyses commonly used both in China and abroad. The final conclusion comes up with some suggestions on the cultivation and management of college graduates who have just joined the SCJH. Meanwhile, this research on the sense of satisfaction of new members on the staff furnishes the enterprise with tools and methods that help figure out the staff’s attitudes, inspirit them effectively, exalting their sense of satisfaction and improve management in the enterprise.
