Abstract: A 3-floor 2-span concrete-filled steel square tubu lar frame model w as designed. Inner d iaphragm joints
w ere used in the frame mode.l The quasi-static expermi entsw ere carried out. By exerting low reversed cyclic loads
on the concrete-filled steel square tubu lar frame, the seism ic performancew as analyzed, includ ing the load-deform-
ation curve of the inner d iaphragm joints in the concrete-filled steel square tubular frame, the joints ductility, the
joints failuremechan ism, the failure characteristics, and so on. The results indicate that the inner d iaphragm joints
in the concrete-filled steel square tubu lar fram e have good seism ic performance.
